Let’s be honest…
Being an adult is not rainbows and butterflies. Sometimes, it kind of sucks!!
I remember being 18–25 thinking, “Yes! I’m finally an adult. Freedom!” And then life hit me. Hard.
For some people, the following questions might start to creep in:
Should I go to college or take a different path?
Am I chasing my dreams or the ones my family hoped for me?
Do I stay in this relationship or finally choose myself?
How do I honor my parents’ sacrifices while still living a life that feels true to me?
Being a young adult is weird. You’re stuck in between being grown enough to carry responsibilities, but still figuring out who you are and what you want, and making mistakes.
But here’s the truth: it’s okay to feel lost. It’s okay to change your mind. You’re not behind. You’re building something new and that’s brave.
And if you’re first-gen? That comes with its own mix of guilt, pride, and pressure. You become stuck between two cultures, overwhelmed by family expectations, or unsure how to put your needs first without guilt.
I provide a supportive space to untangle all of that, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with clarity and care.
You don’t have to do it alone. I can walk alongside you while you figure it out.

Young adulthood brings big transitions, self-discovery, and sometimes, unresolved pain from the past. I work with young adults using CBT, DBT, EMDR, sand tray, and expressive arts to help them process emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and strengthen their sense of self. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, family dynamics, or simply feeling stuck—especially if you're navigating the layered experiences of being first-gen or Latinx, therapy is a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward with clarity and purpose.
